What follows is entirely up to the creative genius within you. You see, the USB Roll Up Drum Kit lets you experiment with mixes, instruments, effects, rhythms, and beats in much the same way as an electric drum machine does. Which means you can create your own rock beats - and email them to your friends - or play along to the pre-recorded songs. the delay between hitting the drum pad and it making a sound makes it impossible to play along with anything. you are always out of time meaning you need to keep rhythm a second before the actual tune. no fun at all. my son now uses the cheap feeling and looking drumsticks as a harry potter wand. i would not recommend to buy it.

I agree with the other review.
There is such a long delay between hitting the pad and the sound being played that it makes it pretty much useless.
This is not just a slight delay, but must be about 1/4 second - which is a very long time in terms of trying to keep a beat!
